COCONUT CHEESE POUND CAKE 
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. shortening
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
3 c. sugar
6 eggs
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 (6 oz.) frozen coconut, thawed
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. coconut

Cream butter, shortening, cream cheese, and add sugar. Add eggs, one at a time and beat. Combine flour, salt, soda and add to batter. Mix in remaining ingredients. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.
