LASAGNA 
1 lb. ground beef (can also use 1/2 lb. beef sausage)
1 qt. canned tomatoes
1 (8 oz.) can tomato paste
6-7 cloves garlic
12 oz. Mozzarella cheese
9 or 10 uncooked lasagna noodles
1 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. rosemary
1 tsp. cayenne pepper
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 onion, minced
1 pt. cottage cheese
12 oz. med. Cheddar cheese
1 pkg. spaghetti sauce mix
1 tsp. thyme
1 tsp. sage
Parmesan cheese

Cook ground beef or meat with onion and garlic until brown. Add tomato paste and sauce, spices and spaghetti sauce package mix with meat. Layer in large 2 inch deep (or more) dish. Start with layer of sauce on bottom of dish, then a layer of uncooked noodles, then Cheddar cheese and Mozzarella cheese.

Sprinkle Parmesan on top and add cottage cheese and then meat sauce and repeat layers until you end up with 3 layers of noodles - ending with meat sauce on top.

Bake 1 hour at 375 degrees. Let stand for 10 minutes after baking.

To microwave, wrap tightly in plastic wrap and microwave on high for 8 minutes - then 30 minutes on medium low, turning occasionally.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
