CHOCOLATE RUM"LESS" BALLS 
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate bits
3 tbsp. light corn syrup
1/2 c. light cream
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. crushed vanilla wafers
1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 c. chopped nuts

Melt chocolate bits over hot water. Add corn syrup and light cream. Combine vanilla wafer crumbs, powdered sugar and nuts. Add chocolate mixture and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla.

Refrigerate for 1/2 hour, then shape into 1 inch balls. Roll in granulated sugar. Let "ripen" in covered container for at least 3 days.
