FRUIT COOKIES 
3 ripe bananas
1/3 c. peanut oil
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. oats
1/2 c. oat bran
1 1/2 c. mixed dried fruits (softened in hot water)
1/2 c. almonds

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease cookie sheet. Mash bananas in large bowl. Stir in oil and vanilla. Add oats, bran and mixed fruits. Stir well. Add nuts and stir again. Drop by tablespoons onto sheet, about 1 inch apart. Flatten with back of spoon. Bake 20 minutes. Store in refrigerator when cooled. Serves 24.
