CONNECTICUT BEEF SUPPER 
1 lb. stew meat or 1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
6 potatoes, sliced
1 can cream of mushroom soup
8 oz. sour cream
1 1/2 c. milk
8 oz. shredded cheese
1 c. crushed corn flakes
Salt and pepper

Brown and season meat (can brown with a little chopped onion, if desired). Put meat in 9 x 13 inch pan. Top with potatoes. Mix soup, sour cream, and milk; pour over meat and potatoes. Salt and pepper the layer. Sprinkle cheese over top, then sprinkle corn flakes over top. Bake in 350 degree oven for 1 to 1 1/2 hours until potatoes are tender.
