ENGLISH PLUM PUDDING 
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. ground suet
1 c. flour
1 c. currants
1 c. raisins
1 c. chopped apples
1/3 c. milk
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. English walnuts

Mix dry ingredients. Beat eggs and sugar until light. Add suet, milk, raisins, currants and nuts. Add chopped apples, flour, spices; mix well. Grease mold, fill 2/3 full. Cover with several thicknesses of waxed paper. Steam this on rack for 3 - 3 1/2 hours.
