PLUM PUDDING 
1 c. ground suet
1 c. bread crumbs
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. molasses
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. currants
1 c. raisins
1 c. pecans
2 eggs
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves

Combine dry ingredients. Add eggs, molasses and buttermilk in order listed. Add enough flour to make a stiff batter and steam 2 hours.

LEMON SAUCE:

1 c. boiling water
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. flour
Juice from 1 lemon
Butter (size of walnut)

Cook until thick and clear.
