MYSTERY ICING 
4 tbsp. flour
1 c. milk
1 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. vanilla
1 stick butter (don't melt)
1/2 c. shortening
Salt

Blend the flour and milk. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens to the consistency of cream. Cool, but do not chill. Cream sugar, butter and shortening, adding salt and vanilla. Add the slightly cooked flour mixture (when completely cooled) and continue beating until very fluffy.
