Red food coloring
White cake mix
1 sm. can crushed pineapple
1 sm. jar maraschino cherries
2 well beaten eggs
1 c. sugar
2 sticks butter
1 c. chopped nuts
1 lg. can coconut

Mix cake and food coloring. Bake a cake as mix package directs, let cool on stove top. Cook pineapple and chopped cherries with juice, eggs, sugar and butter until thickened. Add nuts and coconut. Spoon onto layers. Refrigerate.
