“SWEDISH MEAT BALLS” IS IN:

SWEDISH MEAT BALLS 
3/4 cup bread crumbs, light or dark
1 cup cream (or evaporated milk)
1/2 lb. ground pork
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1/4 med. onion, minced
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. salt
2 egg yolks

Soak crumbs in cream or canned milk; add pork and beef. Stir together to mix.

Sauté onions in butter until lightly browned on edges. Add to meat with seasonings and egg yolks. Shape into very small meatballs and fry in a small amount of olive oil over low heat until browned on all sides.

Before serving, place in a casserole dish. Cover with milk or cream.

Bake in a 350°F oven for 30 minutes.

Makes 3 dozen small meatballs.
