MARY LEE'S WHIPPING CREAM POUND
CAKE
 
2 sticks real butter
6 lg. eggs
3 c. sugar
3 c. cake flour, sifted twice
1/2 pt. whipping cream
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter and sugar. Add one egg at a time. Mix flour and whipping cream alternately in batter, beginning and ending with flour. Pour in a tube pan. Start in a COLD oven. Bake at 300 to 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.
