BOURSIN (GARLIC SPREAD) 
1/2 lb. (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
2 (8 oz. or 1 lb.) cream cheese, softened
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/4 tsp. marjoram
1/4 tsp. thyme
1/4 tsp. basil
1/4 tsp. white pepper
1/4 tsp. dill weed

Combine softened butter and cream cheese with spices until smooth and well blended. Place in container and cover. Refrigerate. Will keep for several weeks. Serve with crackers or vegetable crudities. Can also be used on broiled fish. Best when made well ahead.
