CANNED APPLE PIE FILLING 
5 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. cornstarch
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. salt
10 c. water
3 tbsp. lemon juice

Blend dry ingredients; add water and lemon juice. Cook until thick and pour over the raw, sliced apples packed in jars. To seal, boil in hot water bath for 20 minutes.
