MARIAN'S CARAMEL CORN 
5-6 qt. popped corn
1 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1/2 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
12 oz. can mixed nuts

Pop corn, place in a large buttered pot in warm oven. Add nuts. Place butter, brown sugar, syrup and salt in pan; boil 5 minutes over medium heat. Add baking soda and vanilla. Pour over hot popcorn, mix well. Place on buttered cookie sheet. Bake 1 hour in 250 degree oven, turning every 15 minutes. Cool, break apart. Store in airtight container.
