FINNISH BISCUIT 
2 c. milk
3 eggs, beaten
1/2 tsp. salt
2 pkgs. dry yeast
6-7 cardamom, shelled and crushed
1 c. sugar
6 c. flour
1/4 lb. butter

Dissolve yeast in 1/4 cup warm water. Scald milk - cool to lukewarm. Add melted butter, eggs, cardamom, sugar and flour. Knead well until all flour is used up. Let rise until double in bulk.

Divide dough into sections. Take one section at a time and divide into three equal parts. Roll into strands and braid together. Put in pan. Let rise. Bake at 350 degrees.

Cook 1/4 cup coffee and sugar. Let cool and brush on biscuit after it is baked. Sprinkle sugar.
