KAHLUA CANDIED YAMS 
4 med. size yams, cooked (or 1 can - 1 lb., 3 oz. yams)
1/4 c. butter
1/3 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. kahlua

Cut yams into serving size pieces. In a heavy skillet, melt butter and sugar. Add kahlua, cook 1 minute. Add yams, turn until brown on all sides. Cover, reduce heat and cook about 15 minutes. Turn once more before serving. Serves 4-6. Cook yams until tender but firm. Remove from pan, cool slightly and peel.
