6 c. peeled/sliced apples (McIntosh or Haralson the best)
1/2 c. apple juice
1/4 to 1/3 c. sugar (if desired)

Combine the above ingredients in a 3 quart microwave casserole. Mix well; cover. Microwave on full power for 6 minutes. Stir and repeat until tender. This applesauce freezes well.
