PINEAPPLE NUT CAKE 
1 can crushed pineapple (in heavy syrup)
2 tsp. baking soda
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1 pkg. chopped pecans, sm. bag

Pour pineapple in mixing bowl (juice included). Stir in soda. This will get foamy looking. Add remaining ingredients in order and pour into greased 13 x 9 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 50 minutes. Done when toothpick comes out clean.

FROSTING:

1 (8 oz.) bar Philadelphia cream cheese
1/2 stick butter
2 tsp. vanilla
1 lb. pkg. powdered sugar

Spread over warm cake keep refrigerated.
