BOSTON CREME PIT 
CAKE:

1/2 c. butter
3/4 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sugar
3 eggs
2/3 c. milk
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt

Cream together butter, vanilla and sugar. Add eggs. Alternately blend in milk with flour, baking powder and salt sifted together. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

FILLING:

1/3 c. sugar
3 tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/4 c. milk
1 beaten egg
1 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. vanilla

Mix together sugar, flour, salt and milk. Boil 2 minutes. Add egg, butter and vanilla. Cover and cool.

GLAZE:

2 tbsp. butter
1 ox. unsweetened chocolate
1 sifted c. powdered sugar
2 tbsp. boiling water

Melt butter with chocolate. Add sifted powdered sugar. Add boiling water. Quickly pour on top of finished cake.
