RAISIN BRAN MUFFINS 
1 (15 oz.) box raisin bran
5 c. all purpose flour (plain)
3 c. sugar
5 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. salt
1 c. corn oil
4 eggs, beaten
1 qt. buttermilk
3 tsp. pumpkin pie or apple pie spice
1/2 c. raisins (opt.)
1 c. chopped pecans (opt.)

Combine raisin bran, flour, sugar, soda, salt and spice in large bowl. Make well in center, add eggs, oil and buttermilk. Stir to moisten. Add nuts if desired. Spoon into paper lined muffin tins, bake at 400 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes. Makes 76 muffins. Freezes well.
