DIVINITY CANDY 
2 1/3 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
2/3 c. white corn syrup
1/2 c. water
2 egg white, stiffly beaten
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine sugar, salt, corn syrup and water. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until sugar, salt, corn syrup and water have dissolved. Do this until the mixture spins a thread in cold water. Pour over beaten egg whites and beat until it forms stiff peaks. Pour into dish and cut into squares. Add nuts to top.
