WILMAS'S ICE BOX PICKLES 
Dill
Sliced onion
1 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. mustard seed
1/4 tsp. celery salt
1/4 tsp. tumeric
1 1/2 tbsp. pickling salt
1 c. vinegar
Cucumber, sliced to fill jar

Use a one quart jar. Combine sugar, vinegar and spices. Pour over the sliced cucumbers and onions in jar. Refrigerate for two or three days. Shake every now and then. Add more slices as you eat them.
