ICE BOX CUCUMBER PICKLE 
1 gallon sliced cucumbers
4 c. sugar
4 c. white vinegar
1 qt. sliced onion
1 tsp. mustard seed
1 tsp. celery seed
1/2 c. plain salt (no iodine)

Heat slightly. Pour over cukes. Stir several days until cukes are firm. Ready to eat in 10 days. Keep refrigerated.
