CHICKEN AND RICE 
6-8 chicken breasts or pieces (legs, thighs)
1 c. rice
1 can mushroom soup (undiluted)
1 can cream of celery soup (undiluted)
1 stick butter

Melt butter in 7 1/2 x 12 glass dish.

Mix rice with butter and cover bottom of dish. (I cook rice a bit - not over 5 minutes.)

Lay chicken over rice. Mix two soups and completely cover chicken and rice.

Cover tightly with aluminum foil and bake 1 hour in 350 degree oven. Take off foil and bake 1/2 hour longer.
