WHITE CHOCOLATE CHIPPERS | |
1 c. all purpose flour 1 tsp. baking soda 3/4 c. butter 1/2 c. sugar 1/2 c. packed brown sugar 1 egg 2 1/2 c. rolled oats 1 1/2 c. coarsely chopped vanilla flavored confectioners coating (almond bark or white chocolate) 1/2 c. finely chopped almonds In a small mixing bowl, stir together flour and soda. Set aside. In a large mixing bowl, beat butter with an electric mixer on medium speed for 30 seconds. Add sugars; beat until fluffy. Add egg; beat well. Add flour mixture; beat until well mixed. Stir in oats, confectioners coating pieces and almonds. Drop by rounded tablespoons 3 inches apart onto an ungreased cookie sheet; flatten slightly. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes or until done. Cool on cookie sheet for 1 minute; remove and cool on wire rack. Makes 38 cookies. |
