PAPRIKA BEEF | |
3 lb. arm pot roast Flour for covering meat Salt to taste Pepper to taste 1 tbsp. paprika 1/2 stick butter 2 chopped onions (may use more onion, if desired) Start with 3 pound arm pot roast, cube 1 inch pieces. Put in sack of flour and shake well. Brown butter well. Add floured meat, stir constantly. Add chopped onion after meat is well browned. Continue stirring occasionally. When meat and onion is well browned. Cover and simmer until tender. May also be browned in Dutch oven and then finish cooking in oven at 350 degrees, covered. Be sure to use lots of onion, that gives it the flavor. Add salt, pepper and paprika before covering. Serve with noodles, rice or potatoes. |
