OLD FASHION CARAMEL CANDY 
1. In black heavy skillet on low melt ONE cup sugar. DON'T BURN, stay with it.

2. In pan that cooks the other:

2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1 c. milk
1/2 stick butter, for candy
1 tsp. vanilla
Nuts if desired

Cook part 2 on low while waiting for the top to melt. Then pour part one in and finish cooking to soft ball. Add butter, vanilla. Beat and then add nuts. Pour in buttered Pyrex or pan and let set.
