PISSALADIERE - FRENCH STYLE PIZZA | |
3 med. size plum tomatoes 3/4 c. pitted ripe olives 1 (10 oz.) pkg. refrigerated pizza dough Olive or salad oil 1 (8 oz.) pkg. shredded part skim mozzarella cheese 2 tbsp. parsley leaves 1 tsp. dehydrated onion flakes 1/2 tsp. cracked black pepper 1/2 tsp. dried basil leaves Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Cut tomatoes crosswise into 1/4 inch thick slices. Drain on paper towels. Slice olives lengthwise in half. Unroll pizza dough on greased cookie sheet. Press into 14 x 12 inch rectangle. Brush with olive or salad oil. Sprinkle with half of cheese over dough. Arrange tomato slices over cheese. Sprinkle with parsley, onion flakes, pepper, basil leaves, olives and remaining cheese. Bake pizza on bottom rack in oven 10-12 minutes until crust is golden and cheese melts. Makes 4 main dish servings. |
