MAGIC BISCUITS 
5 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
4 tsp. baking powder
4 tbsp. sugar
1 c. shortening
2 pkgs. yeast
1/4 c. warm water
2 c. buttermilk

Dissolve yeast in warm water. Sift dry ingredients in large bowl and mix in shortening; add yeast and milk; mix well. Knead quickly 20-30 times. Roll out and cut (about 1/2-inch thick). Allow to rise 10 minutes. Bake at 400 degrees for 12-15 minutes.
