SAUCER COOKIES 
3/4 c. wheat germ, reg. or sugar & honey
3/4 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/4 c. flaked coconut
1/4 c. quick oats, uncooked
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt (opt.)
1/2 c. softened butter
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1 egg
3/4 tsp. vanilla

Combine wheat germ, flour, chocolate chips, coconut, oats, baking powder and salt in bowl. Stir well to blend. Cream butter and sugars thoroughly; beat in egg and vanilla. Add blended dry ingredients to creamed mixture. Blend well. Place batter by 1/4 cupfuls on greased baking sheets, 6 inches apart. Flatten to about 3 inch size. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes until cookies are golden brown and centers are firm.
