1 c. white sugar
2 eggs
1 c. Crisco
1/2 tsp. salt
3 c. flour (unsifted)
1 c. dark brown sugar
1 c. peanut butter (Jif)
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream shortening with sugar. Add beaten eggs and peanut butter. Sift flour, soda and salt together; add.

Grease and flour cookie sheets. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Take some dough and form into a small ball, place on cookie sheet and flatten with fork. Bake 10-12 minutes. Yields approximately 6 dozen.
