MOM'S PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES 
3 c. plain flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. Crisco shortening
1 c. peanut butter
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract

Sift flour, baking soda, and salt. Cream shortening, sugar and peanut butter. Add flour mixture. Moisten with water and vanilla. Drip by spoonfulls on ungreased pan. Press flat with a fork dipped in water.

Bake at 350°F until brown about 15 minutes.
