YUMMY CARAMEL BARS 
3/4 c. melted butter
14 oz. pkg. caramels
1/3 c. evaporated milk
6 oz. pkg. chocolate chips
1 c. chopped nuts
1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
1/3 c. evaporated milk

Mix cake mix, butter and milk. Spread half of mix in 9x13 inch pan. Bake 6 minutes at 350 degrees.

While baking, melt caramels with remaining milk. Add chocolate chips and nuts to caramels. Spread on crust. Top with remaining batter. (This will not spread. Dropping the batter in little bits and pieces works best.) Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes. (These are our favorite bars.)
