RUTH'S YUMMY BARS | |
18 1/2 oz. German chocolate cake mix with pudding 1/2 c. melted butter 2/3 c. evaporated milk 6 oz. pkg. chocolate chips 1 1/2 c. chopped nuts 50 caramels (14 oz. bag) Mix together cake mix, butter and 1/3 cup evaporated milk. Spread half of mixture in greased 13 x 9 inch cake pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 6 minutes. Sprinkle chips and nuts on top of partially baked cake mixture. Melt the caramels with remaining milk and drizzle over chips and nuts. Spoon the remaining cake mixture on top and press gently into caramel mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Cut when cool. |
