BABY RUTH BARS | |
1 c. sugar 1 1/2 c. crunchy peanut butter (extra crunchy is best) 1 c. light Karo syrup 4 c. Rice Krispies Bring sugar and syrup to a boil, remove from heat immediately. Add peanut butter. Add Rice Krispies and stir, mixing well. Pat lightly in a buttered 9 x 13 inch pan. For topping melt in top of double boiler (or microwave) : 6 oz. butterscotch bits Spread on top of Rice Krispies mixture, cool and slice. Does not need refrigeration. |
