LASAGNA FROM THE KITCHEN OF THELMA | |
4 links (1 - 1 1/2 lbs) Italian sausage 3 - 3 1/2 lbs ground meat black pepper garlic salt minced onion 2 jars Ragu Sauce lasagna noodles 2 lbs mozzarella cheese, shredded 6 oz. provolone 15 oz. Sorrento ricotta Remove casings from sausage. In a skillet, brown sausage and remove (an electric skillet works well). Add ground meat into electric skillet, brown, add sausage. Sprinkle black pepper, garlic salt, minced onion. drain grease. Add 2 jars of Ragu sauce. Spread several spoons of sauce out on the bottom of baking dish. Boil lasagna noodles according to package directions. 1st. Layer noodles, then meat, then 3/4 bag mozzarella cheese shredded, then noodles. 8) 2nd. Layer noodles, meat, all ricotta cheese and 5 round pcs of provolone cheese. 9) 3rd. Layer noodles, meat, add bag of mozzarella cheese. Bake for one hour at 350°F. Submitted by: Thelma's Mom |
