LINDA'S APPLE SALAD 
3 large crisp apples, peeled and chopped
2 tbsp. sugar
1 can pineapple tidbits
1/2 cup chopped celery
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup miniature marshmallows
1 small jar maraschino cherries
Pecan halves

Dressing:

1/2 cup Miracle Whip
12 oz. Cool Whip

Drain pineapple, reserving liquid. Add sugar to pineapple juice. Pour juice over chopped apples and set aside. Finely chop celery and nuts. Drain apples and mix with the other ingredients. Mix Miracle Whip and Cool Whip. Add to the salad. Garnish with whole cherries and pecan halves. Refrigerate.
