3 lemons 1 1/2 c. sugar 2 c. hot tap water Soften lemons. Cut off one end of each lemon and gouge with knife to loosen pulp. Squeeze the juice into the pitcher and slice lemon. Add sugar. Pour hot tap water over sugar, lemon slices and juice. Stir to dissolve sugar. Let stand for 5 minutes. Remove lemon slices and seeds. Fill pitcher with cold water to make 2 quarts. Serve over ice. |
