2 c. flour, sifted
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/4 c. shortening (Crisco)
1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. corn flakes
2 c. shredded coconut

Mix flour, soda, salt and baking powder together and set aside. Cream shortening and sugars, add eggs and vanilla. Mix well. Add flour mixture and mix well. Add corn flakes and coconut. Mix well. Grease cookie sheets and drop by teaspoonfuls.

Bake at 350°F for 7 minutes.
