RANCH CASSEROLE 
1 lb. ground beef
1 (10 oz.) can tomatoes with green chiles
1 (15 oz.) can Ranch beans
1 recipe corn bread (below)

Brown ground beef in skillet and drain fat. Add tomatoes. Place meat mixture in a 9x13x2 inch glass casserole. Evenly spread beans over meat. Evenly spread corn bread batter over beans. Bake in hot 425 degree oven 20 to 30 minutes.

CORNBREAD:

3/4 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
2 tbsp. sugar
3/4 c. corn meal
1 egg, beaten
2 tbsp. corn oil
3/4 c. milk

Sift flour, baking powder, and sugar. Add corn meal. In separate bowl, beat egg with fork. Add oil and milk. Add liquid to flour mixture, stir just until moistened.
