LUAU RICE 
1 c. rice
1 can water chestnuts, sliced thin
1/2 c. water
Fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 stick butter
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can onion soup

Brown rice, mushrooms and water chestnuts in melted butter for about 15 minutes, stirring constantly. Put in a casserole and add soup and water. Bake 1 hour, covered in a 350 degree oven. Serves 6.
