2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1/2 c. sifted confectioners' sugar
1 c. butter
4 beaten eggs
2 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. lemon juice
1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder

Sift together the 2 cups flour and the confectioners' sugar. Cut in butter until mixture clings together. Press in 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan. Bake in 350 degree oven for 20-25 minutes or until lightly brown.

Beat together eggs, granulated sugar and lemon juice. Sift together the 1/4 cup flour and the baking powder. Stir into egg mixture. Pour over baked crust. Bake in 350 degree oven for 25 minutes longer. Sprinkle with additional confectioners' sugar. Cool. Cut in bars. Makes 30.
