CHOCOLATE SOUR CREAM CAKE 
1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. plain flour
1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
2 eggs
2 sq. melted chocolate
2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. boiling water

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, chocolate and vanilla to creamed mixture. Sift together to mix soda, flour and salt; add to creamed mixture alternately with the sour cream. Add the boiling water; mix well. Pour into greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes or until it tests done. Turn out of pan to cool.

ICING:

1 stick butter
3 c. powdered sugar
3 oz. melted chocolate
1 egg
1/4 c. hot water

Mix ingredients. Beat well and ice cake.
