ITALIAN SAUCE 
2 lb. lean ground beef
1 lb. Italian sausage
2 (28 oz.) cans tomatoes or 1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes and 1 (29 oz.) can tomato puree
1 (12 oz.) can tomato paste
2 sm. cans mushrooms
2 onions, chopped
2 green peppers, chopped
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. rosemary
1/2 tsp. basil
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. thyme
Garlic to suit taste

Brown onions, green peppers, and meat. Pour off grease and add rest of the ingredients. Simmer about 4 hours. Add chopped parsley when sauce is almost done. Pour over boiled spaghetti and sprinkle with plenty of grated Parmesan cheese.
