HARVARD BEETS | |
1 can sliced beets 1 tbsp. sugar 1/8 tsp. salt 1 tsp. cornstarch 2 tbsp. vinegar 1 tbsp. butter Drain beets, reserve 1/4 cup liquid in saucepan. Combine sugar, cornstarch and salt. Stir in reserved liquid, vinegar and butter. Cook stirring constantly until mixture thickens and bubbly. Stir in beets. Cook until heated through. |
