6 c. water 1 stalk celery with leaves Lg. onion (cut in 1/4's) 1 peeled carrot Salt and pepper Turkey neck, gizzard and liver Put above ingredients (except liver) in 6 cups of water. Bring to boil. Simmer until gizzard is tender, about 1 1/2 hours. Add salt and pepper to taste. Strain and add to turkey drippings. Add liver the last 15 minutes of cooking. |
