CALICO BEANS 
1 (16 oz.) lima beans
1 (16 oz.) butter beans
1 (16 oz.) pork and beans

Drain liquid from beans.

1/2 lb. bacon or ground chuck
1 onion, diced
1/2 green pepper, diced
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. ketchup
1/2 c. vinegar
1 tsp. garlic
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp. mustard
2 tomatoes, diced

Put all the beans in a roasting pan (about 5-pound roaster). Brown 1/2 pound bacon or ground chuck; drain grease off. Also saute onions and green peppers with meat, just to get to change color.

Then add brown sugar, ketchup, vinegar, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, mustard and tomatoes; bring sauce and meat to a boil. Add sauce to beans and set overnight in refrigerator for better taste. Can be baked immediately. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes, then 300 degrees for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes. Cover first 45 minutes, then last 15 minutes uncover.
