FRENCH BREAKFAST MUFFINS 
1/3 c. melted butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 c. milk
1 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. nutmeg

MUFFIN TOPPING:

1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon

Combine butter, sugar, egg and milk. Stir in dry ingredients. Bake in greased muffin tins at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Cool about 5 minutes. Dip tops of muffins in melted butter (1/2 cup) then in mixture of 1/2 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon.
