1/3 c. cornstarch
1/4 c. cocoa
1/2 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
2 1/4 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. butter

Mix together cornstarch, cocoa, sugar and salt. Add milk. Cook 2 minutes and stir. Cook 2 minutes and stir. Cook 2 minutes and stir. Add vanilla and butter. Stir well and let stand covered until thick, 5 to 10 minutes.
