BARBECUED SPARERIBS | |
4 lb. spare ribs 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper 1 c. clear French dressing 1/2 c. finely chopped onion 1/2 c. chili sauce 2-3 tbsp. lemon juice 2 tbsp. brown sugar 2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce Rub ribs with salt and pepper, place in shallow baking dish. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over ribs. Let it stand in refrigerator several hours or overnight; drain, reserving marinade. Lace ribs on spit in accordion style. Broil over coals or in rotissene broiler 1-1 1/2 hours or until well done. Brush frequently with marinade. Serves 4. |
